Resumen


Este artículo trata de la reinterpretación de la tradición lexicográfica del Sefer ha-Šorašim (“Libro de las raíces”) en el Renacimiento, en el contexto del cabalista cristiano Egidio de Viterbo (1469-1532) y del intelectual judío Elías Levita (1469-1549). Se pone de relieve el interés de Egidio de Viterbo por la exégesis, los léxicos y las gramáticas hebreas, que ha estimulado la actividad de Levita. Se analizan, después, los aspectos innovadores de las obras lexicográficas de Levita, Meturgeman (‘intérprete’), un diccionario de las raíces arameas del Targum, y Tišbi, un léxico de hebreo post-bíblico.
