Crónica de la destrucción de una ciudad del reino de Ugarit (TU 00-2.61)

The ugaritic letter 00-2.61 (number taken from the Banco de datos filológicos semíticos noroccidentales) is an important document for the military history of Ugarit. It tells about the capture and destruction of a city caused by Binḫarrānu, an unknow figure for the present. Through a translation and a philological commentary, this work shows the perfect syntactical structure of the text. It also emphasizes the character of this letter as a chronicle.
