This article compiles the letters exchanged between the Jewish David Cardoso Núñez and the Spanish Consul in Larache, Tomás Bremond, first, and the Spanish Consul in Tangiers, Juan Manuel González Salmón, then. Bremond gave Cardoso the job of issuing the health certificates for the Spanish ships which would sail to La Mamora harbour. González Salmón chose Cardoso as bis information supplier in Larache, since the end of 1783 until October 1787. Later on, in 1792, Cardoso writes to González Salmón on behalf of himself, the Ambassador Aḥmad al-Dalīmī and the Prince Mawlāy ‛Abd al-Salām. This generates the mail presented in this article.
