The Ugaritic seal-inscription RS 17.25 (TU 00-6.69), published in 1986, poses interesting grammatical and philological questions. Among the suggestions offered for the better understanding of the inscription, the authors propose a new explanation of the genitive mlki, a new identification of a new Ugaritic personal name, Ilṣrp, and a new interpretation for the office-title mru.
