The aim of this work is to achieve a better understanding of R. Šelomoh bar Reuben Bonafed’s diwan and the influences it received especially from literary works of a non-Hebrew origin. This is made through a comparative study between the satirical and invecttive texts written in the classical period of the Hebrew-Spanish literature and those written in Romance language in the 14th and 15th centuries.
