Through the analysis of a varied documentary evidence from the late 14th up to the 16th centuries, and the reconstruction of the medieval Jewish quarter of Toledo, the author identifies the so-called "sinagoga del sofer» (early 13th century [?] up to 1391), today disappeared. A proposal is made to locate the lost building near the «puerta de la judería» and the main street of the Jewish quarter, just opposite the monastery San Juan de los Reyes.
