In this article, the author presents an analysis of the pathetic final verses of Psalm 138. It includes a detailed study of the verses based upon commonly accepted interpretations of them by various commentarists, and subsequently arrives at a new, possibly more accurate translation, one based upon a reading derived from other translations.
