The plays ⁾Asîrê ha-tiqwâ by Josseph Penso and Śeḵel ṭôḇ by Moseh ben Aharon Sasportas were written within the framework of the Amsterdam Sephardi community. This article presents the parallels between these two Hebrew works and the play Contra la verdad no ay fuerça by Daniel Leví de Barrios.
